Hans C. Arents is senior advisor digital government in the Flanders Digital Agency, the agency tasked with the transformation of the Flemish regional government and local governments into a radically digital, data-driven and AI-enabled government. He is responsible for formulating forward-looking e-government policy and stimulating transformative innovation in digital public service delivery. He has more than 20 years of experience in the drafting, implementation and evaluation of public policies in the fields of digital transformation and innovation in government. Lately he has been assisting the newly created AI Expertise Center of the Flemish government in drafting a far-reaching AI strategy and designing a comprehensive AI governance structure for the Flemish administration.

Claudio is a semantic architect with over a decade of experience in Semantic Technologies. He funded Metagalaxy OÜ to focus on optimizing knowledge organization and enabling data-driven decision-making. As an expert for the European Commission, he leads projects on semantic interoperability and data sovereignty. Claudio has contributed to the African Development Bank's business classification scheme and the FAO's linked data initiatives for the FAO global statistics. His work spans diverse domains such as e-government, life sciences, and environmental preservation, focusing on data integration, interoperability, and advanced search capabilities. He has also driven innovation in knowledge graph management and semantic data models while working with organizations like the International Atomic Energy Agency of the United Nations.
